Snow!

I have been a very good dog and guess what we saw the other day-- SNOW!! Look carefully at the tops of those hills over in Marin. Do you see the white? That's snow! And, they're actually forecasting snow in the city Thursday night/Friday.

We've had a lot of weather, so to speak.
Last week, we also got a lot of rain.
When it clears up, it is gorgeous here in the winter.
In fact, winter is our summer.

Ma took me to Ft Funston on her way to shopping.
I smelled those horses coming. Ooooof! Are they stinky or what?

Ma put me on leash but I barked my head off.
To be honest, those horses scare me.
After a while, I realized the futility of barking so I stopped.
I don't know about those horses. These  guys had some issues on the trails. Behind us, where they're headed, it's really narrow with a steep drop-off. When they got there they got a little freaked out and had to come back to a wider trail.
So, til my next misadventure, be good, be safe and don't bark so much or you'll get horse, hee haw!

A proposal

I have been a good dog and yesterday we saw this at the beach!

The weather has been gorgeous.
She, we presume Kelly, said YES!
It made me a happy dog even though I don't know them.
These guys are half Airedale! I liked them.
On the way home, we ran into a mini version of me - a Welsh Terrier.
And, also my neighbor - Sunny.
Ma and I accompanied Pa and his friend to Marin. They ran from the Palomarin trailhead all the way to Limantour Beach in Pt. Reyes. He's the guy that ran a 135 mile ultrarun event in Brazil a few weeks ago.
Note the sign. I was not welcome.....Hrrrrrumph!!
Ma and I had some time to kill before we met them so we decided to head towards Pt Reyes and the eastern side of Tamales Bay.
I was welcome here!
Hog Island Oyster Co has an oyster bar at the Ferry Building which is one of her favorite places but she'd never been to their place on the water. It's in Marshall on Tamales Bay about 30 min from Pt Reyes (the town). She says it's safe to eat these oysters RAW. I agree! You know I find my own raw food on the beach.
Ma loves oysters on the half shell and I love the shells!
A nice guy gave Ma a beautiful flower and made her laugh. Of course, he really came to see ME. Ma even got to meet the owner and had a nice long chat with him. He is a super guy and they work really hard to grow those oysters
Anywhere that allows me to dine with my family is civilized.
We had to leave too soon but it was a good day for Ma and me. We met Dave and Pa at Limantour Beach.

So, 'til my next misadventure - oyster la vista, be good, eat safe or you'll be running to Montezuma, if you get my drift.

Sock heaven

I have been a good boy and ever wonder where all those lonely socks go when they disappear from the laundry? You know, they always disappear singly, not as a pair. Well, I know the answer! No - I don't raid the laundry and steal them like some Airedales. I know we have a reputation for that.

They end up on Ocean Beach!
I made sure it was shaken, not stirred.
Ahhhhh - the smell of dirty feet in the morning.
Fly, baby, fly!
I left it by the white rose when I was done.
I'm very Zen that way, you know.
So, 'til my next misadventure, be good and practice safe socks or suffer the consequences.
